Miley Cyrus Debuts New Song ‘More to Lose’

Miley Cyrus had a special shout-out for certain audience members during a recent performance.

On Saturday, May 3, the "Flowers" hitmaker debuted her new track "More to Lose" her forthcoming visual album Something Beautiful during an intimate pre-Met Gala event at Casa Cipriani in New York City.

But before Cyrus, 32, introduced the track, she spoke directly to some attendees in the crowd.

"I have a lot of people that I’ve known and loved for a very long time in this room," Cyrus told the crowd in fan-captured footage shared to X on Saturday, May 3. "Even a couple of exes."

She did not point out or name who exactly she was directing her comments toward.

The "Prisoner" musician also shared a clip of her performing "More to Lose" on Instagram Sunday, May 4.

On Thursday, May 1, the Grammy winner previewed "More to Lose" in a video on Instagram, where she belted out a snippet of the track in a black dress while leaning on a piano.

"Sharing this song from the same place it was created… at the piano. xoMC," she wrote. "More To Lose. Coming Soon."

Last month, the "Jaded" artist released her single "End of the World" from Something Beautiful, which was co-written and co-produced by Alvvays' Molly Rankin among others.

"Let's pretend it's not the end of the world / (Oh, oh, oh, oh) The sky is fallin', fallin' like a comet now, oh, oh / Let's pretend it's not the end of the world," Cyrus sings on the track.

In March, Cyrus shared the first taste of her new album with "Prelude."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer's "bold" new album, which she executive-produced with Shawn Everett, will feature 13 original songs.
